Culture

If you’ve been around real estate for any period of time, you know one of the things that make Keller Williams unique is its’ high energy and engaging culture. In fact, Entrepreneur Magazine name Keller Williams one of its’ 2017 Best Company Cultures.

What does KW’s culture look like?

Keller Williams was built on a strongly held set of mission, vision, values, beliefs, and perspectives.

There are some other things that make our company culture unique:

Built By Agents For Agents: Keller Williams is the only global residential real estate company that is privately held. Therefore its’ agents are the stakeholders instead of shareholders. Each market center has an ALC (Associate Leadership Council). It is made up of some of the top-producing agents in the office. These agents are the ones that help make the decisions on how the office is run, how the budgets are spent, and other important decisions.

RED DAY: Each year in May, we celebrate RED DAY! It’s an opportunity for us to give back to our communites that we serve. Whether it’s helping at a local food shelf, doing neighborhood clean-up, serving a local non-profit, KW associates come out in full force to give back. Gratitude is the highest form of energy, and we’re grateful for our communities we serve!

KW Cares: In 2003, the non-profits organization KW Cares was formed. It’s a way for KW Associates to give back to their fellow associates all over, as well as giving back to other non-profits. We are a family, and when a family member is down or needs help, you step up. This is the way we do that.

KW Kids Can (KWKC): Kids today are world changers. They can accomplish anything, and KWKC is here to assist. This class offered at KW Market Centers all over the United States exposes kids to think big and expand their minds. It’s a way to them to take the models and systems the KW teaches and apply it to their own lives as they are entering into the workforce.

So as you are looking at other real estate companies, are they offering all of these opportunities for service to give back? If you were in need, could you count of some of these other companies to step up the same way the KW associates step up?
